Micro Entrepreneurs Association of Gandoca
Gandoca is in the middle of the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge in the Caribbean Sea, near the Panama border.
Micro Entrepreneurs Women Association of Gandoca helps community development encouragingeconomic alternatives as cocoa production especially organic chocolate and products related to cocoa.
This association needs farm volunteers to help the local farmers to plant and produce cocoa from the planting of the trees to the finished products.
They do not need experience in organic farming or studies in agriculture but be willing to work and to learn. It is important to know some Spanish to be able to communicate with the farmers
Volunteers can also help in the reforestation program around the cocoa farms and the plantation of other fruits like passion fruit, plantain and bananas.
Gandoca is in the middle of the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge in the Caribbean Sea, near the Panama border. It has no facilities like banks or big supermarkets. It has only one restaurant and and a place for internet.
